SURT is a non-profit foundation that works for the empowerment of women, for their autonomy and leadership. They do this by facilitating processes that, from a comprehensive vision, take into account all their dimensions: economic empowerment; personal empowerment; community empowerment; socio-political and cultural empowerment.

SURT wants to be an organization committed to women and the environment, building a society with gender equality, free from sexist violence, in which all work, paid and unpaid, is undertaken regardless of gender identities, and in which the tasks of sustaining life -care tasks- are a collective responsibility, visible and revalued in all areas.
They want to be a leading entity in transformative action aimed at eradicating discrimination and economic, political, social and cultural gaps that condition the lives of women, simply because they are women. They want to do this through active, cooperative and supportive participation, to influence, from feminist positions, political, social and cultural transformation processes and in a way that respects the environment.
