This point of interest is part of the Discover the Green Corridor itinerary, which links art and nature. It is part of the Desperta Barcelona project. We invite you to enjoy it and get to know Passeig de Sant Joan and its surroundings through the 6 points and the 6 video capsules. We accompany you to discover this space, and inspire you to create a work of art.

6. City oasis

Depending on the season, the season, the day of the year, and the time, the places change completely.

For example, the noise, the people we meet, the music, the smells, the colors, change. Elements of nature are mixed with artificial elements.

And the Sagrada Familia is a space where there are many people around most of the day.

This living space, with all the elements of nature reflected, is not the same early in the morning, in the afternoon or at night.




When there is calm the birds find water, rest and enjoy the plants and their fruits.
It is an oasis of life where you can enjoy the water, the air and the land.

We observe the colors and shapes, the plants, trees, the lake, the blackbird, the hawks...
Art is within nature, nature is art.

Nature can inspire us in so many ways and shapes, that we can create endless works of art. And art allows us to use different tools to do it.
Collage, mud, watercolour, music, writing... many paths and many possibilities to continue creating together with nature.
