The Hotel España 4 * is located in Carrer de Sant Pau, in the heart of the historic center of Barcelona, next to the Rambla, the Gran Teatre del Liceu, the Boqueria market and countless attractions that make Barcelona one of the most cosmopolitan cities in Europe.

The Hotel España, considered a small gem of Catalan modernism, opened its doors in 1859 under the name of Fonda España and was later renovated by the famous modernist architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner, at the beginning of the 20th century, with the col · collaboration of Eusebi Arnau and Ramon Casas.

The rehabilitation project that the hotel underwent in 2010 has restored the spirit conceived by Domènech i Montaner. The modernist spaces have been recovered as they were originally planned and, at the same time, the hotel has been equipped with the latest technologies and design and comfort.
