Our Guild, a non-profit organization with a long historical tradition, firmly defends the interests of our members Butchers and Butchers, small entrepreneurs in the Catalan trade, before the public administrations with trade responsibilities.
Our objective is to improve, value and reward the professionalism of the sector and deepen the perfection of the work of the food retail trade, in order to be able to give the citizens, our customers, a better service, information and food safety and achieve greater loyalty.
Our intention is to maintain and improve the network of local Butchers, and not to lose one of the most important assets of our society, both in the scope of the street establishment and in the markets.
We work daily to offer them technical advice, creating as many services as can be useful to them. And we keep them informed on everything that is interesting to them, food safety, regulations, health, sustainability....
We are affiliated with PIMEC COMERÇ, which represents us before public bodies with competence in the sector, as well as in all debate forums; and issues a position and assessment on those aspects that affect local trade and communicates it to us
