On weekdays it is an environmental education center, with an offer of educational activities aimed at formal education, from kindergartens, primary schools, institutes, universities, to adult and special education schools. and also training activities aimed at leisure education and is home to the CDRE of the Collserola Park (Center for Documentation and Educational Resources) which advises, informs, offers resources and loans of material to students and teachers of schools (it is necessary to arrange the visit before). On Sundays it is an information and reception center for visitors with proposals for discovering its natural and rural environment.
During the week, the pedagogical work of the Can Coll environmental education center is based on the offer of educational and playful experiences that stimulate exploration, learning, appreciation, enjoyment, dialogue and participation. having as absolute protagonist the natural environment of the Collserola mountain range.
It mainly welcomes pre-school, primary and secondary school students who do one-day activities, from Monday to Friday. There are more than 20 proposals differentiated by age levels, depth and subject matter. In addition, personalized programs are offered to groups of university students, colleges of higher education, adults or special education.
