  • Social and solidarity economy enterprises

Botiga Amiga is a social initiative promoted by Formació i Treball, an entity promoted by Cáritas Diocesana de Barcelona in 1992 with the mission of developing training and job placement programs for vulnerable groups, as well as managing targeted social delivery programs to families with limited financial resources. In addition, Botiga Amiga is a chain of ethical, social, sustainable and solidarity fashion establishments that is part of the Moda Re- de Càritas project (https://modare.org/) .
The people who shop at Botiga Amiga are firmly committed to consumption with a social conscience, reducing the ecological footprint generated by textile production by wearing second-hand clothes, and favoring the integration of people in a situation of vulnerability in the field of commerce and recycling of clothes and accessories.

The participants of the Young TransformadorESS 2023 project relate this point to Responsible Consumption because it encourages second-hand consumption and the circular economy, extending the life of products and reducing the generation of waste; in addition, the purchase has charitable purposes. That is why it is given the seal of #NavasSostenible.

Joves TransformadorESS is a project promoted by Espai Ambiental Cooperativa with the support of the Barcelona City Council and the MEG, which wants to get young women to build knowledge to share with citizens in the matter of Responsible Consumption. capgiraelrumb.coop
