The Ciutat Vella Joint Resource Bank is a public-community initiative, jointly promoted by the Ciutat Vella District, Barcelona Activa, the Raval Sud - Gòtic Sud Neighborhood Plan and the Itaka Project, which aims to serve the social and cultural entities of the district through the collection, loan and free transfer of various materials to carry out its activities.
It is a commitment to implement new forms of use and ownership of resources, as well as to promote cooperation, pooling and recycling .
It is also an economic initiative around the transport and assembly of infrastructures for events, and a way to generate training opportunities and quality employment for young people in Ciutat Vella.
The Joint Resource Bank is a space open to all entities and groups in Ciutat Vella, where everyone can share and transfer their resources, thus encouraging networking and enhancing synergies.
