The Official College of Agricultural Engineers of Catalonia (COEAC) is a public law corporation governed by Law 7/2006 on the exercise of qualified professions and professional associations, which aims to organize, representation and defense of the profession and the professional interests of agricultural engineers. COEAC's scope of action is the entire Catalan territory and is organized in 4 demarcations: Barcelona, Tarragona, Lleida and Girona through a central headquarters in Barcelona and a delegation in Lleida. The group of agronomic engineers in Catalonia is made up of people trained in the field of agronomic engineering, who develop their activity in different areas: engineering, consultancy, agribusiness, the environment, university and non-university education, public administration, agricultural cooperatives, etc. It is a broad, multidisciplinary and very professional group.
