Make a purchase and consumption more sustainable is to us. Nearby, in our neighborhoods, there are many shops and collaborative consumer experiences that help us to make a purchase more responsible to the environment and society. These "green shops" offer products and services that represent a social and environmental benefit compared to conventional products: organic, local, 2nd hand, repair, etc. During the last months of 2013, Space Environment, with the participation of residents, organizations and retailers neighborhoods of the districts of Sant Martí and Eixample, we have been identifying and mapping these initiatives.
Collaborative Mapping Clot - Camp de l'Arpa
In the district of St. Martin, efforts have focused on the district of Clot-Camp de l'Arpa where, with the support of the association of neighbors, have organized a workshop-route mapping collaborative. Prior to the workshop, mounted an information stand at the fair Crazy Clot during which we collect the same neighbors many shops proposals and initiatives for responsible consumption located in the same district and neighboring districts.
With the information collected, organized the workshop route, which involved a dozen people. It consisted of an introductory session and discussion on the criteria chosen to select establishments; three parallel routes where participants visited and interviewed traders; and sharing with tasting the products of businesses visited. The conclusions of the workshop and route were very positive, both for the participants, who had the opportunity to meet with more depth shops as traders, keen to explain the spirit of their businesses. All information collected has resulted in the blog:

These activities have been developed in parallel to the work of the group B & S engine map, so mapping collaborative iris has led fieldwork has allowed conclusions and experiences of interest to project.
