Hotel 1898 is a true gem to discover. It is located in the heart of Barcelona, in the former building of the Compañía General de Tabacos de Filipinas, built in 1881 by the Catalan architect Josep Oriol Mestres.
The building, renovated in 2005 by Núñez i Navarro, was reborn as the current Hotel 1898, a unique hotel, in colonial style and with its own personality, which offers the best of Barcelona to each of its customers.
