Since its establishment, RUIDO Photo was born as an organization dedicated to documentary images with a Human Rights perspective.

They consider as an essential task not only the creation of journalistic, photographic and documentary material on social problems but also the creation of awareness and education campaigns for global justice that ensure that these materials have a profound effect on the population and become mechanisms of social transformation and change towards more just realities.

RUIDO Photo 's campaigns and awareness-raising activities are characterized by making the most of the image's ability to generate impact and critical reflection and aim to appeal especially to a public that does not normally access this type of content and that is often susceptible to the prejudices and discriminatory discourses that prevail in some media. This is achieved by opting for a plain discourse with different levels of information, the presence in the public space rather than in restricted spaces and the promotion of public participation through social networks and new technologies, as well as in debate spaces or exchange of experiences.
