Plastic Attack Barcelona is a popular, ecological and horizontal initiative, apolitical and made up of people responsible for the environment. Our goal is to generate environmental awareness about the abuse of plastic in our society.
We are concerned that the production of plastics grows year after year and that millions of tons of waste accumulate in nature. We are against single-use plastic in food and over-packaging.

In addition, we protest the lack of transparency and media manipulation of the organizations that manage our waste, which prevent a waste return system and sell a false image of control of a situation that is contrary to all order, the recycling, and which leads to today's plastic remains proliferating all over the planet and even in our bodies.

We want to put a stop to these activities, and we also want solutions, which is why we seek to generate as much feedback as possible. That's why we use social networks and organize events, such as the first edition in Spain of SPOGOMI; workshops in schools and public centers; peaceful protests in front of supermarkets that sell overpackaged products and also with awareness-raising actions on the beaches of Barcelona and its surroundings.

We've partnered with dozens of similar initiatives and entities and are looking to unite even more to give a stronger voice to people who also live with this concern and don't want a plastic-infested future.
