The GIxSU is a non-profit Association that took shape in 2019 with the confluence of 4 Entities with their own life with long and fruitful trajectories guided by social commitment, the scientific and technical story, the preservation of the Environment and Biodiversity and the implementation of the Circular Economy. Entities determined to promote Urban Sustainability as a solvent way to achieve the Resilience of Global Cities and to become true Climate Refuges.

They constitute the Urban Sustainability Lobby and act in the social, technical, legal and administrative environments and in the moments when they consider that they can positively influence Civil Society and Politics to implement Urban Sustainability accompanying Environmentalism to do facing the Climate Emergency.
They have acted in the 2019 and 2021 electoral campaigns, at ParkingDayBCN2019-20-21 and 22.
They are members of the Municipal Tables for the Climate Emergency and Against Air Pollution.
They are very present in the participatory processes of B+S and the Decidim platform and have recently contributed to the achievement of the European Capital of Democracy for Barcelona.
