The Ferrer Green For Good Foundation promotes greener, fairer and more inclusive cities by promoting social urban gardens based on permaculture. It designs and implements productive spaces in collaboration with local entities, gardens that care for the land and people, where regenerative agriculture is practiced and social, educational and academic activities are also carried out. By opening these spaces to research, the foundation also becomes a promoter of scientific knowledge at the service of society in the face of the challenges arising from the eco-climatic and social emergency. Six Green for Good gardens are currently in operation, representing more than 33,000 m2 of agro-regenerative crops and, since its inception, the project has produced more than 100 tons of vegetables.
The Ferrer Green For Good Foundation is one of the Ferrer Foundations, five inspiring organizations born from the firm commitment of the pharmaceutical company Ferrer, a B Corp company that aims to use its business to fight for social justice. The Ferrer Foundations contribute to the socialization of wealth through projects that facilitate equal opportunities and promote creation, knowledge and critical thinking in areas such as the environment, culture, education, human rights and sport.
