This work is by the sculptor Josep Reynés i Gurguí. It is located on Passeig de les Magnòlies, in front of the Museum of Zoology, also known as Castell dels Tres Dragons ( Citadel Park ). It began in 1891 and was inaugurated in 1893.
The statue is inside a small orthogonal pond. It is a large vase to which naked children climb.
