The Femarec Social Project was born in 1991 with the aim of building a society that is fairer, more supportive and respectful of diversity, looking for effective and sustainable formulas to fight exclusion, which allow new proposals for social integration to be made, labor and cultural for those people who are in a situation of marginalization or at a high risk of being so, in order to ensure systematized and quality care.

The Femarec Project focuses all its activity towards two objectives: equal opportunities for the most disadvantaged people and care for the environment.

At Femarec, they serve people in the areas of job guidance, improving employability, psychological care and welfare, occupational training, continuing professional training, Mental Health Service, Special Work Center, services to companies, cultural activities and of leisure, Pre-employment Service and social projects and exchange of experiences.

They are a benchmark in the social sector. They are characterized by their demand for obtaining social and productive results that can be used as reference tools through research and constant innovation of strategies and methodologies based on meaningful learning, networking, ecological theory of systems, the competence model and the gender perspective, among others.

To this end, they promote:
- Work as the main axis of integration.
- The exchange of experiences and knowledge with other European organizations.
- The promotion of dialogue between the Public Administration, the private business sector and private initiative for social purposes.
