In 1995, the Sant Antoni Center Comercial association was set up, which brings together the commercial and service establishments in the Sant Antoni district of Barcelona.
Sant Antoni Shopping Center is made up of these groups:
- Associations of market sellers, Encants and Dominical de Sant Antoni.
- Associations of merchants and services of the streets: Ronda de Sant Antoni, Ronda de Sant Pau, Comte d'Urgell and Parlament.
- Commercial and service establishments in the rest of Sant Antoni's streets that are part of it through the Neighborhood Association.
In 1999, the Commercial Revitalization Plan for the Sant Antoni neighborhood was drawn up, which, from the year 2000, began to be managed with the aim of boosting commerce and making this area a true Shopping Center Urban in Open Sky.
In 2004, Sant Antoni Shopping Center created Sant Antoni Comerç, a name and brand that from then on defines the commercial area of the Sant Antoni neighborhood and serves to identify the associated commercial and service establishments.
Sant Antoni Comerç has a high and varied commercial offer that makes it very attractive to people from all over: almost 5 out of 10 people who walk through Sant Antoni are from outside the neighborhood and many from the rest of Barcelona and from all over Catalonia comes to buy there.
