The College of Engineers of Roads, Canals and Ports is a Professional College that has the function of organizing the exercise of the profession and contributing to the progress of Engineering of Roads, Canals and Ports, in the spirit of service to society.

The College is the Public Law corporation that represents and regulates the professional actions of road engineers. It is the voice of the professional group before public administrations and society, being the only body in Catalonia with the capacity to exercise this collective representativeness.
Among the main functions are the provision of services to promote professional practice here and abroad, the promotion of employment among its members as well as the promotion of knowledge and the development of the professional skills of road engineers .
At the same time, the College is a key tool to fight against intrusion and malpractice, defending the reputation and excellence in the exercise of the profession in line with the ethical code. In this sense, the role of a certifying institution for the work carried out by professionals stands out. Thus, the College protects its members and guarantees the quality of the work carried out for companies, organizations and users.
