The College of Economists of Catalonia is a public law corporation of a professional nature, which has more than 7,400 members and 1,500 associated companies and offices dedicated to the different aspects of the economy and business.
Through the organization of activities and provision of services, it is configured as a center for training and professional updating and as a forum for opinion open to society in general.

The current College of Economists of Catalonia is the result of the unification in 2014 between the former College of Economists and the colleges of Mercantile and Business Graduates of Barcelona, Girona, Lleida and Tarragona.

The College of Economists of Catalonia is governed by its own collegiate statutes as well as its implementing regulations (Regulations of the Governing Board and Regulations of the General Assembly and the Electoral Process).
