The Poble-sec Traveling Environmental Classroom was created with the aim of becoming a point of reference for the transmission of knowledge and promotion of the culture of sustainability and empowering citizens to face the new challenges that have arisen in cause of climate change.
This Environmental Classroom is itinerant; this means that, in a first phase, the activities will take place in different areas of the neighborhood such as the CooperaSec headquarters, the courtyard of the Francesc Boix library, the Civic Center El Sortidor, Montjuïc, etc. in order to reach as many participants as possible.
This is why a program of activities has been devised in different formats: exchange of knowledge, practical workshops, film forums..., and focused on different areas of our day-to-day life: food, energy, zero waste and other more transversal activities.
