who are
Arep for mental health is a non-profit organization that was born in 1979 to cover the need for care for people with mental health problems in Barcelona.
1 in 4 people suffer from a mental health problem in their lifetime. The most common diseases are depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, OCD among others. Arep accompanies affected people and their families in the process of prevention, acceptance and coexistence with the disease.

mission
Arep's mission is to improve the living conditions of people with mental health problems between the ages of 15 and 65, their integration into society and the productive system and the fight against clichés and prejudices that, rather than the mental illness itself, they corner and isolate them.

Arep wants to be a benchmark in direct care, social innovation and the implementation of new inclusive actions in the field of mental health.
