The Agrupament de Botiguers i Comerciants de Catalunya (ABC) is a Catalan business association that brings together most of the shopkeepers' unions and local traders' associations and was established in November 1985 as a response to a need : have an organization that represents and defends the rights and interests of small Catalan traders.

Since its establishment, the Association of Shopkeepers and Traders of Catalonia has considered that the best way to represent and defend the commercial sector is to provide it with the necessary means to maintain a permanent flow of information on everything that, from directly or indirectly, it can affect you.

During these years the ABC has made available to the associated merchant the innovations and essential elements - courses, advice, management support, etc. - for the necessary adaptation of the commercial sector to current trends.
