Founded on 29 July 2004, the Association of Businesses and Institutions 22 @ Barcelona becomes an initiative of civil society to participate actively in the development and consolidation of the 22 @ district as a dynamic, transformative and technological leader.

The Association currently comprise 109 companies and is governed by a General Assembly and Board of Directors.
