Park Auditorium is part of the reorganization of the urban coastline Besos, located at the mouth of the river, which was held on the occasion of the World Forum of Cultures Barcelona 2004. This event had as main objective reflection and dialogue on cultural diversity, sustainable development and peace. The new development was allowed to recover a large expanse of coastline located between the municipalities of Barcelona and Sant Adria de Besos.
