Naturalists Group Osona (GNO) work to the study, preservation and promotion of the natural heritage of our region through various activities and projects.

Every year we organize, together with the Museum of the Ter, a series of departures naturalists exploring the natural systems of the region, which is intended to introduce a biological group or aspect of natural heritage anyone curious and interested in the environment natural. These outputs are spaced throughout the year and cover a wide range of topics, such as birds, fish, orchids, dragonflies, bats, mammals, fossils or mushrooms.

As for research and environmental protection, we have a number of ongoing projects that focus on the study and / or conservation groups biological species or habitats. Some of these projects are the ornithological monitoring, inventory and restoration of agricultural ponds, the study of the wildcat and the creation of the Atlas of orchids of Osona.
