The Fundació Comtal is an NGO that works to give opportunities to children in vulnerable situations. Our main goal is for these children to be educated to be part of society, always maintaining a commitment to the work they do with the most disadvantaged people.
We are based on several principles:
- The reception of these minors and their support in the growth process.
- Strengthening their capacities to make their social integration possible.
- Encouraging the participation of these people in a critical and active way in social and cultural life.
We network with other NGOs in the sector to join forces and make their work more effective.
We have three areas of action:
- Education: in this area we carry out reception and support projects, reinforcement of schooling, free time, work with families and training and qualification.
- Participation: we carry out awareness-raising and volunteering actions to raise public awareness.
- Job orientation: in this field we help young people and guide them to train in what they like.
