At FEDAC Sant Andreu we have been participating for years in the project of more sustainable schools.

We have consolidated projects such as the use of the goat '& roll to avoid using aluminum foil. And other newer projects such as waste disposal in various areas (kitchen, patio, classroom, etc.).
We have participated in the Energy Marathon to reduce electricity consumption and we encourage habits to achieve this.
From different courses and different subjects we are working on "An ecosystem on the roof". It is an ambitious project with which we recover a terrace of the school to transform it into our green lung. We already have the orchard, a small greenhouse, the composter and the butterfly. And under construction bird feeders and nest boxes among many other ideas.

At FEDAC Sant Andreu we work to expand the role of students and go beyond their strictly academic role so that they become involved as an active agent and transformer of the school.

Skamot: Formed by a group of students from 3rd to 4th ESO who encourage other schoolmates to carry out the actions agreed with the POT to improve the environment towards sustainability, within the framework of the Schools + Sustainable project.

POT (Stubborn Protectors of the Earth): 2 students from each class from 1st of Primary to 2nd of ESO. They are responsible for promoting the actions agreed with SKamot and the faculty on actions towards a more sustainable environment.

School sustainability is everyone’s business. We believe in it and we get involved.
