Establishment participating in the 2018-2019 edition of the CASBA Project (Accessible Commerce without Barriers), where architecture students from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UIC) analyzed the accessibility of the space and proposed improvements to achieve accessible trade. for everyone. Once the study was completed, the Pharmacy De la Creu made reforms to the establishment, taking into account the accessibility and the comments offered by the UIC students: it passed the previous step of the entrance on Avinyó street, incorporating a small ramp, as well as changing the manual door to an automatic door, and at the entrance on Comtessa Sobradiel street, the level change between both streets was resolved by means of an inside ramp of the establishment. In addition, continuing the chain of accessibility beyond access to the premises, the interior space was redistributed so that the new layout of the furniture allows to enjoy an accessible circulation area, with a comfortable width for the usability of space. Residents and workers of the nearby Sínia Occupational Center, located on Banys Nous Street, are very happy to have an accessible pharmacy a short distance from the center, where they know they will be able to go from now on without any obstacles. As an important point of sustainability, the Pharmacy of the Cross contains a SIGRE Point, measure that helps to guarantee the correct environmental management of the containers and remnants of medicines of domestic origin.

In December 2019, as part of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the Route of accessible shops and equipment in Avinyó Street and Ample Street was carried out in Ciutat Vella, from the CASBA Project, where the establishments were granted participants, including the Pharmacy De la Creu, the Diploma "Commerce Friend CASBA", for their care about accessibility, the good treatment of the residents of the neighborhood and the collaboration in the training of students of architecture of the participating universities of the project.
