The fish dish is a project that arises from the concerns of its members, professionals working in the field of beachfront high state of exploitation of marine resources and how to choose the fish we eat: a Diversified little fish consumption causes a burden on fishing always the same species and a rejection of those who through ignorance of consumers have little market value.

The purpose of the fish dish is that there is more knowledge and a greater responsibility to buy and consume fish. We work both in the dissemination of responsible consumption as selling boxes of fresh fish, local and seasonal fish markets from Catalonia. We promote the consumption of commercially lesser known species ("Recovered"), which do not correspond to overfished species that have been fished techniques may catch the most respectful with the sea.

Fish also gives the dish service reporting on issues related to the sea and more sustainable alternatives has the consumer through activities such as lectures, cooking classes, children's workshops, round tables and collaborations in projects national and international research.
