Montjuïc today is a mainly leisure space but it has not always been so. Trees are also a testament to where we live today. The Mountain, as it still is today, is a space where people with few resources have sought their way of survival mainly by cultivating their food or using wild plants from the environment. A good way to find out is to pay attention to the trees in our immediate landscape, especially the older ones to look for evidence of an agricultural past. Sharpening our eyes we can guess in this corner of the garden, what are the most common and tasty fruits of the Mediterranean from the past to the present day. Would you be able to find them?
