The purpose of the EcoVincles project is to recover for the neighborhood neighborhood a disused and degraded area that surrounds the current location of the Prosperitat Youth Center. Through the creation of a community urban garden and a space to develop activities, the project aims to involve the neighborhood so that the space becomes a reference for Prosperity and become part of the collective heritage to preserve.
The self-managed educational garden where to cultivate vegetables and aromatic herbs, as well as the creation of a neighborhood space for sharing and activities, can be the scene of projects linked to knowledge and respect for the environment, urban green and responsible consumption , as well as educational, intergenerational and recreational activities.
The aim is to cultivate biological vegetables (non-transgenic), seasonal, native and typically medicinal plants, as well as implementing a rainwater collection and filtration project, in order to maintain the ecological project with a drip irrigation system of the entire intervening zone.
A project drawn but not closed, open to the neighborhood, whose definition will depend on the degree of involvement of the neighborhood in the future uses and activities of the space.
