Controlling footprint: repaired in the city to respect the environment

In 1980 the team Amadó-Domenech architects, professional seed B01 with Raymond Domenech as a surveyor, part of the team that drafted the Plan of the Historical Centre of Lleida which obtained the National Planning Award 1986. Later the in depth study Domenech i Montaner, allows them to take part in several works of this modernist architect, including the editorial Montaner and Simón become Tàpies Foundation, which received the first prize Decade awarded jury by Robert Venturi and Denise Scott-Brown. Other projects in Barcelona allows them to intervene in the urban fabric of the Old Town and the Eixample Cerdà. At the beginning of the new century Sander Laudy join the team, Charles and Laura Perez Cut, constituting "B01 architects", enhancing infrastructure and expanding career field with houses of new plant and equipment. The special focus of Amadeus, Laudy and R. Domenech in the field of sustainability has been a shift of B01 into their way of thinking in environmentally friendly and energy building concept. In its aim to design an architecture without recyclable waste created DOM prefabrication system applicable to various types.
