The Energy Week is an awareness campaign that aims to raise social awareness about savings and energy efficiency as a way to move toward a scenario of responsible energy consumption to help to ensure a sustainable energy system in line with European objectives.

In this context, various entities and facilities in Barcelona and its surroundings are co-hosting a conference from various angles in order to promote energy sovereignty of cities and towns. The conference will show improved energy efficiency in buildings, equipment and facilities through visits and guided tours.

To increase self-sufficiency in Barcelona, the City Council has launched a campaign last March that puts everyone two tools: Map of the energy resources of the city to install renewable energies in buildings and Virtual Energy Advisor to advise the public in the control of energy consumption in the home. You will find information on the web: www.barcelona.cat/autosuficiencia
